Special Olympics Oath

Highland County Special Olympics provides many opportunities to local athletes with disabilities thriving themselves to pursue physical fitness, involvement in athletic competition, sharing friendship with other athletes, friendship with families, and our great communities of Highland County.


Eligibility: For anyone who has intellectual disability; must be at least eight years of age to participate. Click below for the athletes forms.  

Volunteer Opportunity: Adult volunteers must complete Adult Class “A” application along with the Personal Data information form. The volunteer must pay five dollars (cash or check) for background screening. 

Youth volunteers: Must complete Youth Class “A” application. Completing the Personal Data form or pay 5 dollars for screening process is not required.


In Highland County almost 100 athletes participate in Basketball, Unified Softball, Track and Field, Flag Football, Bowling, and Unified Golf.  Check out our Facebook page for more information or contact Nathan Boatman at 937-393-7926 ext. 136.
